Ja’Lisa Adams, APC

Ja’Lisa is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with a BS in Psychology from Troy University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbus State University. She has experience providing individual and group counseling in a nonprofit community setting. She has worked with a wide range of concerns including addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and more. She is passionate about working with children ages 5 and up and adults, as well as families and couples.

Ja’Lisa aims to provide a client centered approach integrating a wide array of evidenced-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT). She tailors her approach to align with each individual’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.

Outside of the office, Ja’Lisa loves spending time in nature, traveling, trying new food, and hanging out with her dog!

Ja’Lisa is currently practicing under the supervision of Julie Evans, LPC, CPCS.
