Cassie, a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Columbus State University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LaGrange College. She works with groups, families, couples, and individuals; seeing children, adolescents, and adults.
Cassie has an interest in working with Schizophrenia, Bipolar I & II, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), ADHD, and eating disorders. Cassie uses a Person-Centered approach through the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens. She has an interest in becoming trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brain Spotting (BSP) to assist her in creating individualized treatments for each person who walks in her door.
Her passion is to help her clients find their voice and intrinsic strength. She believes we all have the capacity to heal and do hard things. She feels her job is to provide a safe and nurturing space to explore, and validate her clients’ experiences.
Outside of the office, Cassie loves spending time with her family, reading/listening to books, and working on her homestead.
Cassie is practicing under the supervision of Julie Evans, LPC, CPCS.
