Kacey Winston is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families and has experience supporting clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship challenges, family conflict, trauma, grief and loss, foster care and adoption-related concerns, and life transitions. Kacey is also committed to providing culturally responsive care, supporting women’s empowerment, and creating an affirming environment for LGBTQ+ individuals.
Kacey’s approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build resilience, improve coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. She especially enjoys working with teens, women, foster children, and families, helping them navigate challenges while recognizing their strengths and potential.
Outside of counseling, Kacey enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and caring for animals. Kacey lives with her husband and their four dogs, and believes that balance, connection, and self-care are important parts of overall well-being.
Kacey is currently practicing under the supervision of Ann Sheppard, LPC, CPCS.
